I met Kim through Sing Heart and Soul Choir.  After joining one of the choir sessions, my mum (who had been diagnosed with terminal cancer) gave me a hug and told me she wanted Kim to deliver her service when the time came.

Many months passed and we all began to realise the reality, I called Kim with very little notice and she travelled down to the midlands two days later and spent an entire day with mum writing out her final words. Kim went above and beyond to make the service perfect, including creating a slideshow of mums photographs which appeared in time with the lyrics of All things Bright and Beautiful. I could not have envisioned a more joyous service, it is rare to smile at a funeral but Kim had the whole room smiling and laughing. Thank you Kim, you delivered mums words with such care and compassion, you have such a beautiful soul and you are the only person I would have ever wanted to deliver mums service.
I will remember that day as a celebration which is exactly what mum wanted! You are one in a million!!! ❤️

"I was extremely lucky to be able to secure Kim as the celebrant for my mother’s funeral in a local crematorium.

My mother had planned her own funeral and had left notes for her eulogy. From the start, Kim was respectful of mother’s wishes, at the same time discussing with me in order to ascertain finer details to enable her to write a caring, informative, thoughtful and respectful service.

Although it was a very sad time, she made it uplifting and full of life, which included his love of music, family, sport, dancing and lots of humour, she captured it all.
